Creative Experience
The ultimate creative experience to me is being able to produce something the client couldn’t imagine but that speaks their language. I believe that when dealing with brands and artist it is always best to keep them in mind while allowing your mind to bring the ideas to life. When working on music videos it was my job to catch the essence of the song and who they are in a few minutes. While working with Soulfull on the Ignorance video I wanted to highlight the dark figures in the back as a representation of his bad thoughts as he tries to navigate through them. In Spencer Lee’s Bag on a Bag I aided with styling tips, to recreate the early 2000’s look with the luxury scarves tied around his face similar to Pharrell Williams ad that moment in fashion.
During my work on these music projects I was able to arrange tracks, select beats and give my input of the contents of the song. Often my role lead to me reaching out to producers and photographers giving the artist the full package. Ultimately my main goal is to produce thought provoking content whether it is music, visual or fashion.
"Creativity is seeing what others see and thinking what no one else ever thought." - Albert Einstein
